Well, I can tell you that EVERY type of squeezed juice must NOT be on your diet. You can safely EAT an orange, or any fruit, raw, organic, etc., but as soon as that fruit is sold as a juice, it is pasteurized, the enzymes are destroyed and you are drinking almost solid sugar!

Any and every method of “processing” a fruit with any form of heat will destroy the enzymes. Soon, below, you will get into the subject of enzymes. The body needs enzymes to digest food. All foods, in their natural (raw) state, come with exactly the right enzymes for their digestion. All enzymes are destroyed by cooking. The body has a limited supply of enzymes it can use when none are available with the food, but as you get older that reserve of body-supplied enzymes gets reduced and you get less and less nutritional value out of anything you eat.

Fresh (raw) fruit is an excellent item to include in your diet and when you are finally ON the diet I recommend, you’ll find plenty of opportunity to eat fresh fruit — but nothing ever heated or processed. Nothing in a can will contain the vital enzymes you need to digest food.
